Dr. Rohan Sunil Kulkarni, MBBS, received his medical degree from Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Pune, India. He attended The Miami Valley School in Dayton, Ohio. Rohan became interested in sciences during his Highschool years and took AP Biology and AP Chemistry. He was accepted into a six year BS/MD program out of high school. Rohan attended Youngstown State University and studied Pre-Med to receive his BS degree. He then attained his MS degree in Microbiology and Immunology from Wright State University, Ohio, USA. His research project work focused on the spread of Ebola virus.

Rohan S. Kulkarni studied MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) program at the Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Hospital Research Centre, Pune, India.
The first 2.5 years of the program focused on Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Community Medicine. His next two years of the MBBS program focused on Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Surgery, Orthopedics, Dermatology, and Community Medicine. Rohan S. Kulkarni completed his one year of MBBS internship in India in January 2021. Dr. Rohan Sunil Kulkarni received his license to practice medicine in India in March 2021.
Rohan S. Kulkarni successfully completed both USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 examinations which are required for getting into the MD residency programs in the USA. Rohan Kulkarni is currently shadowing physicians in the US in order to decide on his residency specialty. Deciding on what residency to apply for will take lot of soul searching!
